Lovely school! Great place for your child to become the best version of themselves. There’s a lot of opportunity as a parent to get involved.

Here is a short gallery of images showing life as a pupil at Walthamstow Montessori School.

Some of our very youngest are so incredibly eager to come to school every day. Don’t forget your smock & plimsolls.

A wealth of Montessori learning tools help hone children’s skills ready for learning through play and discovery

WMS children get introduced to plants and nature very quickly in their learning journeys

Those of a nervous disposition had best look away!

WMS is a great place to make friends forever

Kindergarten classes get ready for some serious building work

…but there is always time for numbers, counting and maths when the outdoor construction work is done

…and when it is wet outside we can always tend to nature indoors

Or perhaps do a literacy activity?

The garden at Penrhyn Hall is a lovely place for reading on a sunny day. Unusual headware is of course optional

Pancake Day is always a favourite day at Walthamstow Montessori

Making pancake batter is the first part of the fun

But everybody stops to listen carefully when the fireman comes to visit

Time for earthy creations in the mud kitchen

We learn about Springtime through the growth of a daffodil

On World Book Day some of our parents come to read with the children

We also learn about sowing and growng from seeds

We always ensure that learning is always enjoyable at WMS
