WMS is a term-time school, open 38 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:45.
WMS operates Holiday School during some weeks of the Christmas, Easter and Summer Holidays and sometimes during half term holidays. Holiday School is offered entirely subject to demand.
All parents, whether funded or unfunded, may request attendance from the session options below. Places are allocated subject to availability. Alternative days will be offered where preferred days are not available.
Attendance is for a minimum of three days per week.
We ask all families, whether funded or unfunded, who wish to take up fewer than four mornings or four days per week to include a Friday in their attendance pattern.
If your child is funded, all their hours will be funded until the weekly entitlement of 15 or 30 hours has been used (570 hours and 1,140 hours per year). There is no requirement to take up additional hours. Unused hours cannot be carried forward to the following week.

Our fees comprise a core hourly charge, which is free for funded hours, and we ask both funded and unfunded parents to pay:
- food consumables charges – £1.50 for snacks each morning and each afternoon;
- non-food consumables – 50p each morning and each afternoon (which covers wipes, nappy sacks / nappy disposal and sun cream); and,
- our extra activities & specialist tuition charges.
These charges are optional for funded parents as explained in our terms and conditions.
Should you opt out of chargeable extras, alternative arrangements will be agreed with you for the supply of consumables and your child will not be entitled to participate in extra activities and specialist tuition.
If you are funded, please note that hours attended in addition to funded hours are charged at our prevailing hourly core rate, plus our extra activities & specialist tuition charges, which are published on our website and, if changed, are updated in advance of each term.
